What hasn't changed?

What hasn't changed?

Once, I have read that education and learning have no restriction of age. I should admit that PDQ reminded me of this quotation and took me back to my university years, when I was a student without any experience but full of motivation and enthusiasm to learn. Now as an experienced teacher, I feel grateful and blessed to be given the opportunity of refreshing my knowledge, exploring myself again, and seeing my reflection in the mirror. To have an insight to look at myself and everything I do as an outsider helped me to know more about my strengths and limitations. I have become more aware of my strategies as a teacher and understood the importance of updating them. Time flies, everything changes, and we should keep up. In order to educate students who possess 21st-century skills, we need to develop ourselves as well. PDQ has become a platform that assisted our self-development and enriched our knowledge. It also brought teachers with different perspectives and backgrounds together, providing an opportunity of sharing our experiences with each other.

Additionally,  It helped me to put myself in my students' shoes and look at things from their scoops. In other words, I have started to look at the things that once I learned from different angles, which helped me give my students more autonomy and independence in their learning journey. Overall, with the help of PDQ, I have discovered a new teacher inside of me who is more conscious and self-confident about her teaching. So, if you asked me what has changed in my life after PDQ, I would say ‘’what hasn’t changed?’’.
